3-year Prevention Study for People With Overweight and Prediabetes, Prehypertension, and/or Predyslipidemia

Are you overweight and at risk for health conditions such as prediabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol — but not currently taking prescription medication for any of these conditions?

If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study evaluating an FDA-approved once-daily oral GLP-1 medicine (Foundayo) for reducing health risks associated with overweight and obesity.

ABOUT THE STUDY

This is a Phase 3 study evaluating how once-daily oral Foundayo (orforglipron) affects body weight and health risk factors in adults who are overweight.

WHO MAY QUALIFY? 

You may be eligible to participate if you meet all the following: 

  • Age 18 years or older

  • Have a body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 30 (classified as overweight)

  • Have at lesst one of the following: prediabetes, elevated blood pressure,

  • or abnormal cholesterol

  • Do not have diabetes

  • Are not currently taking metformin or any other glucose-lowering medication (and have not taken any in the past 3 months)

  • Are not currently taking prescription medications for blood pressure or cholesterol (and have not taken any in the past 2 years)

  • Have never used diabetes or weight loss medications (such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Trulicity, or Foundayo — in any form, including pills or injections)

  • Have never had surgery for treatment of obesity
