52-week Weight Loss Study for People With Overweight or Obesity Without Diabetes

Are you living with overweight or obesity and do not have diabetes? 

If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study evaluating an amylin analog (ABBV-295) for weight management.

ABOUT THE STUDY

This is a Phase 2 study assessing how ABBV-295 affects food intake and body weight.

WHO MAY QUALIFY? 

You may be eligible to participate if you meet all the following: 

  • Age 18 to 75 years

  • Body mass index (BMI) of 27 or higher (classified as overweight or obesity) 

  • Do not have diabetes

  • Have not used any GLP-1-based medication — including pills or injections (such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Trulicity, or Foundayo) or any other weight loss medication within the past 6 months 

  • Have never had surgery for treatment of obesity
