6-month Study for People With Difficult-to-control Type 2 Diabetes

Do you have type 2 diabetes and have had difficulty achieving blood sugar goals despite therapy with 2 or more diabetes medications?

If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study assessing clofutriben, an investigational medication designed to block the effects of excess cortisol, a hormone that may contribute to poor blood sugar control and other metabolic complications in some people with type 2 diabetes.

ABOUT THE STUDY

This is a Phase 2 study evaluating how clofutriben may affect blood sugar control (HbA1c) and metabolic health.

WHO MAY QUALIFY?

You may be eligible to participate if you meet all the following:

  • Age 18 years or older

  • Have type 2 diabetes

  • Taking at least 2 diabetes medications — including oral medications, injectable GLP-1 medications, and/or insulin

  • HbA1c greater than 7.5%
