Are you living with metabolic fatty liver disease (also called MASLD)?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study evaluating the GLP-1 medicines retatrutide and tirzepatide (Zepbound®) for the prevention of long-term complications of metabolic liver disease.
ABOUT THE STUDY
This is a Phase 3 study evaluating how retatrutide and tirzepatide (Zepbound) may slow the progression of high-risk metabolic fatty liver disease (MASLD) and help prevent serious liver complications.
Who may qualify?
You may be eligible to participate if you meet all the following:
Age 18 years or older
Body mass index (BMI) of 25 or higher (classified as overweight or obesity)
Do not drink more than an average of 3 alcoholic drinks per day (for men) or 2 per day (for women)
Have not used any GLP-1-based medication — including pills or injections (such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Trulicity, or Foundayo) within the past 6 months
Have not used any other weight loss medication within the past 3 months
Have never had surgery for treatment of obesity
If diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, have an HbA1c of less than 10%
