44-week Study for People With Type 2 Diabetes Who Are Normal Weight, Overweight, or Obese

Are you living with type 2 diabetes and managing your diabetes with diet and exercise only (no diabetes medications)?

If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study assessing an investigational GLP-1 medicine called zenagamtide.

ABOUT THE STUDY

This is a Phase 3 study assessing how zenagamtide affects blood sugar levels and body weight.

WHO MAY QUALIFY?

You may be eligible to participate if you meet all the following:

  • Age 18 years or older

  • Have type 2 diabetes

  • Have never taken any glucose-lowering medications (your diabetes has always been treated with diet and exercise only)

  • HbA1c between 7.0% and 9.5%

  • BMI of 23 or higher (classified as normal weight, overweight, or obesity)

  • Have never used any GLP-1-based medication — pills or injections (such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro, Zepbound, Trulicity, or Foundayo), for any reason

  • Have never had surgery for treatment of obesity
