Are you living with Type 2 Diabetes?

CAPTAIN T2D Study

This study is evaluating an investigational medication to see if it is safe and effective in managing type 2 diabetes T2D in adults who have elevated cortisol levels. Cortisol is a hormone that can affect blood sugar and overall health. This study is seeking to learn more about how managing cortisol may help people with T2D.

Who can take part?

You may be able to take part in this study if you:

  • Are at least 18 years old

  • Were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (T2D) at least 1 year ago

  • Have had an average blood sugar (HbA1c) 7.5% or greater over the past 3 months

The overall study duration will be about 37 weeks (about 9 months). All study-related care and study medications (investigational or placebo) will be provided at no cost during participation.

There is no cost to participate and once enrolled in the study, participants will be compensated for time and travel.
